2025 New Bern Cup is Final
The 2025 New Bern Cup,
hosted by Harbour Pointe GC Sunday September 14, was won by Taberna CC for the 2nd time.
With 6 area clubs participating the event was a huge success for all.
The team from Taberna CC won by 1 stroke over New Bern Golf & CC.
13 person teams from 6 area clubs participated in the tournament and a field of 78 players.
New Bern Mayor Jeffery Odam presented the cup to the winning team from Taberna CC.
Many raffle tickets were sold to raise money for the local non-profit organization, Bike Box Project.
More than $5,000 was donated to Bike Box Project and when the drawing took place on September 16, these lucky winners came away with 6 different "New Bern Experiences" prize packages.
Proceeds from the 2025 New Bern Cup will benefit This local non-profit organization-Bike Box Project
Bike Box Project does amazing work through the fitness programs they conduct for area residents with Parkinson's disease known as Rock Steady Boxing. These are non-contact fitness classes that help with mobility, coordination, flexibility, and voice projection in an upbeat, positive atmosphere...surrounded by energetic and fun coaches and volunteers.
